Parking in the Porvoo town centre is either subject to charge (Mon-Fri 8-18, Sat 8-15) or to a time limit.

Parking areas for tourist buses in Porvoo

Short-term parking is supervised by the Porvoo City Parking Control. The Parking Control handles parking tickets and fines as well as customer service and appeals. The Porvoo City Parking Control also grants company and work parking permits, as well as parking permits for residents. Parking is also monitored by the Eastern Uusimaa regional police.

There are no time limits in free parking areas.

Parking fines must be paid within 30 days of receiving a fine. The recipient is entitled to make an appeal within 30 days if he or she considers the fine to be unfounded. For appeal please be in contact with service center Kompassi for more information.
