Top Argentine tango artist Martín Alvarado, together with the award-winning Gerardo Villar y Los Aguirre guitar quartet, will bring the pulse of Buenos Aires to the audience.

Alvarado has been called ‘the voice of Buenos Aires’ and has been captivating audiences around the world for more than two decades. His unforgettable interpretations are full of emotion – whether he’s on stage with a symphony orchestra, a jazz band or just a man and a guitar.

For Finnish audiences, Martin is a familiar face from years of experience, but this is the first time that Gerardo Villar’s guitar quartet has visited Finland.

The concert will feature an authentic soundscape from the streets of old Buenos Aires with a 21st century twist. The programme includes works by Astor Piazzolla and Carlos Gardel, traditional Argentine folk music styles, Finnish tangos with an Argentine twist, and Alvarado’s own compositions.
