Album Release Tour
Lyyti will release her fourth album Pidän sulle paikkaa (“I’ll Save You a Seat”) this autumn and embark on an extensive album release tour in October, which will arrive at Taidetehdas on November 21, 2025!
Lyyti’s music combines evocative lyrics with brilliant instrumentation and production. Award-winning songs like Mihin voi soittaa? (“Where Can You Call?”) and Ennätyshelteet (“Record Heat”) have come to reflect the young generation’s experience of growing up in an uncertain world. Yet, finding hope—even in seeds buried deep in the mud—is the core message of Lyyti’s music.
Pidän sulle paikkaa album is like a musical storybook exploring friendship and belonging. Friendship is learned with thumbs up by the roadside, in the clatter of a night train, in daydreams and first drunken moments, along the paths of reputation and swims by the dock. Shall we go together? Will you save me a seat? Pinky promises are made, we try to fit in, and we realize we only have each other. So, let’s build a paradise on the edge of a wasteland and throw a party where everyone has a place.
In recent years, Lyyti has captivated audiences across Finland with her dazzling band. She is known for her songs that touch people of all ages and for live performances that bring her stories to life. Her previous album Nousussa taas received three Emma Award nominations, and Ennätyshelteet was honored with the Juha Vainio Society’s “Lyric of the Year” award. At her concerts, both joyous and painful emotions are shared together through tears, laughter, dancing, and singing.
