Chamber Music Concert: reflections

The concert opens with Messiaen’s Appel Interstellaire, whose call seems to echo out to the universe. In the expression of Shaw and Bjarnason’s works, older forms of composition play in the background, and the concert concludes with the octet” Autumn Equinox “, in which the musical themes of my opera Autumn Sonata find a new balance with each other. What all the works in the concert have in common is the feeling of stepping into the other side of the mirror and looking at an existing situation or the world from different angles.
