Avanti brings to Porvoo—and for the first time in Finland—the internationally rising composer Eric Wubbels. Wubbels is a masterful combiner of instrumental timbres and astonishingly skilled at constructing dramatic arcs. Performing also as a pianist at Suvisoitto, Wubbels will present three Finnish premieres and one world premiere of his works.
