The task of tourism and event services is to promote Porvoo as a tourist destination, an event platform and a filming location nationally and internationally.
Our job is:
- DMO
- Develop Porvoo’s year-round and responsibly produced event offering
- To attract new events and event-goers to Porvoo
- Develop the city of Porvoo as an event platform (e.g. regions and infrastructure)
- Create networks and connect actors
- To make Porvoo specialties and phenomena known
- Following trends, innovating new things, making new partnerships
- Promoting and marketing of Art Factory to event visitors and business customers
