Porvoo-bot chatbot answers to frequently asked questions in three different languages, in Finnish, Swedish and English and is working on Facebook Messenger platform both in Facebook and on visitporvoo.fi.

It gives customer service when the tourist information is closed or if our personnel are occupied. Porvoo-bot supports the tourist information channels by offering customer service that is not bound to opening hours.

Porvoo-bot answers to 20 frequently asked questions and will also learn new questions as they gather to the service. Different target groups are also taken into account depending on are you a Finnish or an international traveler.

If Porvoo-bot does not understand or know the answer to your question, you will be asked to take contact with the tourist information directly. If your question concerns any other public services provided by the city of Porvoo, Porvoo-bot will ask you to contact Service center Kompassi or use the ePorvoo.fi service.

FAQ are related to opening hours, parking, sights, restaurants and cafes. Porvoo-bot will also give information about 10 sights in Porvoo with the help of QR codes.
