In the Creative Saturday Workshop series for families with children, creativity is experienced together. In the playful non-stop workshop, all family members are artists! The themes are based on the wishes received from families. The instructors are visiting art pedagogues and artists.
Registration for the workshops is not required.

13 December: Christmas gift paper printing
Let’s make lovely Christmas gift wrapping papers for Santa’s container packages! In a workshop led by art pedagogue Pia Angeria, patterns are printed on Christmas gift paper with a stamp. The workshop is related by Art Factorys´s Christmas Market free program.
7 February: Crazy Glasses
With art educator Liini Laes, you can make yourself crazy glasses. The bottom of the glasses is made of cardboard, on which you can create decorations and other parts by using, among other things, muffin tins.
7 March: Emoji magnet
In a workshop led by ceramics artisan Janine Bergström, we will make our own emoji magnets that can decorate the fridge at home. The emoji is made using fimo mass.
18 April: Collage of joy
In this workshop, you get to combine the things that bring you joy into a collage. You can cut out things that bring joy from the leaves or draw and paint them in a collage. In the workshop, you can participate in making a large collage or make your own. The workshop is led by multidisciplinary artist Petra Kinnunen.
16 May: Summer mobile
In the last creative Saturday workshop of the semester, we prepare for the summer by making summer mobiles. Together with the poet Elna Yrjönkoski, we will make summer-themed mobiles using painting felt.
